By accessing the EduMental website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service, which we may update without notice. Due to the dynamic nature of the Internet, such changes may become necessary, therefore, we suggest that you check these Terms and Conditions of Service periodically to ensure you are conversant with the most current version.

You also agree that information collected on this website will be used for research purposes concerning the use and usability of EduMental. The collected information will not be used for any other purposes.

No third party will be given access to the data or any personal information collected via this website.

The website, currently located at www.edumental.fi, has been developed in EduMental project, funded by TEKES and the University of Turku.


The material available on the EduMental website has been produced in several projects funded by a number of investors. The information is as equally based on a number of refereed sources listed on the site.

Without our written consent you may not:

  • republish (including publication on another website), reproduce or store any material found on the website or related sources in any public or private electronic retrieval system
  • duplicate, copy, sell, or otherwise exploit our website or any material found on our website for a commercial purpose; or
  • edit or otherwise modify any material on the website.

Privacy and Security

When visiting the EduMental website, the webserver of the University of Turku will store information about your visit and log the following details:

  • your IP-address

  • the username entered (when registration is required).

EduMental uses the information identified above for statistical and research purposes and for maintaining the service. We will not use the information to identify individual users. The public authorities may exercise their right to inspect any illegal activities connected to the use of the website.

EduMental takes no responsibility for any content of any external sites linked or referred to on this website.
We will not sell or pass on any personal information of the users to third parties.

Termination of Service

We may terminate the membership and/or deny access to the EduMental website in case of any of the following:

  • the user has provided false or misleading registration information
  • the user has interfered with the administration of our website; or
  • the user has violated these Terms and Conditions of Service.

In addition, we may choose to remove any or all of the content the user has submitted to the service at any time and without notice.


This website reflects the views of the authors. The funding bodies cannot be held responsible for any of the information or material contained on the site. 
The University of Turku, Finland, cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in the EduMental website. EduMental does not accept any liability whatsoever for any potential consequences arising from the use of the site.

University of Turku, Finland, reserves the right to make changes to or remove the service, or remove or alter any content of the website at any time without notice.

Neither EduMental nor any of its affiliated organisations warrant that any functions contained in the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the website or the server that make the service available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Although the survey may provide general recommendations about a topic, such information should not be construed as an opinion regarding its suitability for you or your organisation. You agree to make your own independent evaluation of the information.
